Safety First: Currently in Quarantine
Monitoring. Recovery. Preparation.
To ensure the long-term health of our herd and the safety of your stable, all horses recently acquired from sale undergo a mandatory quarantine period. This is a standard bio-security measure where our equine residents are monitored for any illnesses and able to settle into their new surroundings. While these horses aren't ready to head home just yet, this is the perfect time to get to know them. For the safety of our residents, physical visits to the quarantine pen are restricted.

Meet Ally
Status: In Quarantine (April 2026) | Species: Jenny Donkey
Ally joined our family this April after being rescued from sale. While her exact age is still being determined, her gentle spirit is already shining through. Though she is a shy girl, she is incredibly sweet.
Ally’s journey to recovery starts from the ground up—literally. She arrived with severely curled hooves, a sign of long-term neglect that will require a dedicated, specialized farrier schedule to restore her mobility and comfort. We are committed to getting her back on level ground, one trim at a time.
Ally’s Recovery Goals
-
Specialized Hoof Care: Corrective trimming to address extreme overgrowth.
-
Confidence Building: Gentle socialization to help her overcome her shyness.
-
Support Ally: Because Ally requires specialized farrier work, she is currently available for sponsorship to help cover her rehabilitation costs while she waits for her forever home.

Meet Lainey
Status: In Quarantine | Breed: Paint Filly | Age: 2 Years
Rescued from sale this April, Lainey is a stunning young filly who is quickly proving that her personality is as beautiful as her coat. While she arrived with the "halter broke" label from the sale barn, she is currently discovering that humans can be more than just handlers—they can be friends.
Lainey’s natural curiosity is the star of the show. Since arriving, she has been gaining confidence by the day, transitioning from a cautious observer to an active greeter. She recently reached a huge milestone by giving our Co-founder, Kat, a "kiss," and she is now comfortable enough to enjoy nose scratches while she eats and is even now eating grain out of hands! She even knickers at volunteers when she sees them by the barn!
Spotlight on Lainey
-
Brave & Bright: Every day she settles further into her environment, she gets "braver and braver" about approaching our team.
-
Sweet Temperament: She shows no malice, only a gentle desire to connect.
-
Growth Potential: As a two-year-old, she is at the perfect age to build a bond from the ground up.

Meet Ella
Status: In Quarantine | Age: 2 Years | Special Note: Potential Pregnancy
Ella is a breathtaking two-year-old filly who joined us from the sale in April. Since her arrival, she has established herself as the confident leader of our quarantine group. Watching her move is a highlight of our day—she is a spectacular mover with a trot so effortless she looks like she is floating through the air.
While the sale barn listed her as halter broke and potentially pregnant, we are currently prioritizing her trust before confirming her status. Once Ella feels secure enough to be comfortably haltered and handled, we will move forward with a veterinary exam to determine if she has a foal on the way.
Progress & Personality
-
Growing Bravery: Every day in her new environment brings more confidence; she has recently started approaching our team at the fence line to say hello.
-
Sweet Milestones: She is now comfortable eating from a bucket or pan held by a human and is even beginning to lean in for the occasional nose scratch.
-
Natural Elegance: With her leadership qualities and "floating" movement, she is truly a standout filly with a bright future ahead.
